If you are playing multi-table tournaments on a regular basis but haven't scored a money finish yet then keep reading.
First ask yourself a few questions.
Ask yourself "What is my true goal" - winning money or just having fun?
Do I need the Money? Or can I live with loosing.
The less you deviate from this path, the better your results will be.
First, your goal is to make it to the money any which way you can.
Secondly, a tournament is like a cross-country marathon.
Thirdly, there is a lot of what we call dead money at the tables that will die swiftly within the first hour if you let it.
On the aggressive side are players who are looking to get a big stack early so they can lean heavily on smaller stacks.
At the beginning of the tournament, you don't want to be exposing yourself to the gray zone - that area where you could be right,
but if you are wrong, you will be out of the tournament.
Take it slow, don't rush tournaments last a long time, and the goal is to be there at the end.
