Precisely How The Covenant Of Wealth Will Enhance Your Bank Account

The covenant of wealth is really an agreement between God and his people in which God promises that he will supply for and heal His people. The covenant was God’s idea and not mans.

Deuteronomy 8:18 and you shall keep in mind the Lord your God: because it is he who provides you with power to receive wealth, he may establish (continue) his covenant which he swore with your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob which is still the same today.

The word wealth, as translated in this particular verse means plenteous in goods. If you don’t mind my saying just what exactly this really means is that its God’s will and covenant for individuals to acquire lots of good stuff.

Do not get crazy on me, this will not necessarily imply God wants everyone to remain a millionaire nevertheless it does imply God wants us to get nice things. God never wants us to always be poor.

Cash is not evil however the love of cash is evil. I do know rich people who love cash and I know poor people who love cash and it is evil in both cases. It is not noble to remain poor because the Bible even tells us in Deuteronomy 28:15-68 that poverty and sickness is a curse.

Jesus said in John 10:10 I am come that you might have life and have it more abundantly. I proclaim if Jesus came in order that we could have an abundant life the least we can do is live an abundant life.

Someone has to pay the expenses and folks who have more than enough cash would be the folks that pay the bills. It's going to take dollars for evangelism, to keep the lights on in the church, to send a television signal which carries the gospel into other countries, to pay the preacher and to feed the poor.

The rule of thumb is from is Matthew chapter 6:33 when Jesus said, Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all you need shall be presented to you. This is not poverty. Having everything you need given unto you is prosperity and that is what Jesus said we could and really should have.

The covenant of wealth is a promise God made to Abraham and it is still in effect today for all Christians who are sons and daughters of Abraham according to Galatians chapter 3.
