Premier of Sahara Rotating Hookah Adapter – Sahara 360°
Houston, Texas; August 6, 2007 – Sahara Smoke Co. of Statesboro, Georgia announced the launch of their patented rotating hookah adapter – the Sahara 360°.
“The Sahara 360° is a really innovative product,” says manager Jonathan Crim, “It’s designed to work with the Sahara hookahs that customer’s already own... both large and medium sizes. You just set the hookah on it. It stays securely in place and rotates smoothly.”
The Sahara 360° was created in response to customer demand for high quality rotating hookahs and launched at the Retail Tobacco Dealer’s of America 75th Annual Trade Show in Houston, Texas on August 5th.
Hookahs are traditionally used in groups and the hoses are passed around a circle. Generally, stationary hookahs are carefully turned by the person passing the hose. With a hot charcoal on top, this process can be pretty daunting. Rotating hookahs are designed to smoothly rotate the hookah pipe without upsetting the coal.
“Most rotating hookahs on the market are very wobbly – so it kind of defeats the purpose. And if some piece breaks, it’s really hard to find replacement parts – you wind up replacing the whole pipe,” D Boyer, a retail sales specialist at Sahara Smoke Co. points out, “With the Sahara 360° you’re really upgrading an already unique hookah - the whole Sahara collection has really unique colors and designs.”
