Tom Yum soup is a Thai soup that is very tasty for everybody. Tom yum soup is known by unique hot & sour flavorus along with aromatic herbs. The basic soup is cooked with aromatic and sweet scented herbs as shallots, the kaffir leaves of lime, lemon grass, & galangal. The strong aroma & distinctive tase comes from mixing fresh lime juice, fish sauce & crushed chillis before serving. Chicken tom yum soup is known as Tom Yum Gai. The ingredients required for cooking: 6 white onions julienned, 8 ounces fresh ginger root, 6 julienned red bell peppers, 1 stalk celery sliced thin, 2 chopped green chile peppers,, {10 kaffir lime leaves, half cup of oyster sauce, 1 cup of soy sauce, 4 ounces of tom yum soup paste, 14 quarters of chicken broth, pieces of ½ lbs. boneless chicken breast, 1 cup karengo and 1 tsp. of sesame oil.

Following is the method for cooking Tom Yum soup

1. You have to fry onions nice and tender in a large sized cooking pot, onions, red bell peppers, celery, chile peppers, ginger, & lemongrass, in the sesame oil.
2. Add chicken stockings and bring the contents to a boil for 5 minutes only.
3. Now pour in the rest of the main ingredients like chicken cut pieces, oyster sauce, tom yum paste, and lime leaves.
4. Check the taste and flavor of the contents after 20 minutes of boiling.
5. If needed, put in more oyster sauce.
6. Now add the seaweed after which you should adorn it with the cilantro and serve to satisfy the taste buds.
