Prize Bundles – New Trends

As you can imagine, fulfilling large prize bundles is a complex business if you are to avoid finding yourself with organisational problems. Firstly you need to understand your audience to choose the right prizes so it appeals. The more relevant the prizes the better - on the Gadget Show, the prize theme is always technology.

It also helps to know the size of the audience too - if you are going to reach a lot of people you might be able to leverage partnerships with brands who can offer prizes. This might reduce your costs but you will only be able to broker such deals if you can prove who you are going to reach and how many people. If such deals are available it is well worth thinking about the longer term. These deals take time to arrange, so do a good job of promoting the brands, report back and plan ahead so they are more likely to join forces on future promotions. Make sure you are being realistic with your deliverables and the partner will not be disappointed. If your promotion is on the TV or Radio make a recording of the show and send it off to your partners. If it is an online promotion send them a URL when it's live and take screenshots in case it gets taken down once the promotion has ended.

You also have to show them how efficient you are by being realistic with deadlines - making sure they deliver prizes on time is beneficial for them as well as you and your winner and it will avoid negative PR.

If you get it right your prize promotion will be memorable and people will keep coming back for more...
