Well relax; there are a ton of websites and free information to help you with the logistics. The key is that you understand the benefits to creating video and how to use it to your advantage.
How to get started….
First you don't have to purchase a lot of high powered video equipment to make a good, profit producing video. You can purchase a low cost Flip video camera for about $150.00. This camera comes equipped with software to load directly to Youtube.
This camera is so small you can take it anywhere, on your vacation get away, to the grocery store, and be ready on a dime to start filming something for your blog.
Now if you want to spice up your video or add your website link to your video (great advertising) purchase a software product called Sony Studio, this will make you look like a professional.
Second, make a video. All this takes is your lovely face and some personality. And in my case a few takes. I never like my videos the first time around; but…don't fuss over this too much; they don't have to be perfect. If you're really shy, try creating them in PowerPoint and just add your voice. These are just as effective.
Third, let everyone know about your video. Publish it on Youtube, and TubeMogul, both of these services are free. Now post it to your blog, your Facebook account, make a Squidoo lens, and post to any other social book marketing sites you’re a member of.
These are just a few simple tips to get you started. But whatever you do, just do it. Videos from all these sources rank very high in the search engines, and high rankings equate to high profits.
