Protect Your Home When You Notice These Bed Bug Signs

You will definitely notice bed bug signs when you feel the itch when they bite you at night. These creatures are nocturnal so they will usually attack between 2 AM to 4 AM. It does not always follow that they do this during these hours, but in many instances these are the normal times that they come out to look for their prey.

This is also the time of the night when you are deep in your sleep which could be a good opportunity for them to look for the best area on your skin to bite. You should also know that these creatures do not like hair so the bites are usually in places where there is less hair.

If you keep on scratching your skin when you wake up in the morning, then these are clear bed bug signs. You need to immediately start taking steps to defend your turf, or otherwise you will always find them accompanying you when you sleep and feasting on you. Some bed bug signs are droppings that you see on your bed cover or some blood stains indicating that you may have already been bitten while you were in deep slumber.

These insects do not have wings so they cannot fly from the wall to your bed. It is suggested that you keep your bed a little bit away from your wall most especially if the wall is made of wood or has crevices where they could be finding their places of abode. It is difficult to find this tiny menace unless you have a well trained bed bug sniffing dog that you can use to search for their lair.

You have to search for their lair for you to totally eradicate them from your home. Adult females can lay 5 eggs per day which can mean 500 eggs in her lifetime. These eggs can be found in the cracks of your wall, floor and sometimes behind the wall paper or anywhere that provides them a dark and comfortable fissure which is beyond the reach of human hands.

Ironically, they dwell in places where no human can reach but these places should not be too far away from their meal, which is the human as well. Obviously, when you start looking for them, their lairs will not be far from where you will be sleeping or lounging around, so the most obvious places are your bed and sofa. You can sleep at night undisturbed if you use a special waterproof bed cover to get temporary relief or you can hire the best pest control in your neighborhood to eliminate them for good.
