Public Speaking Through The Ages
Previously, public speaking was very active in political circles and also in the judicial circles. Speaking in public is one of the main important attributes for a skilled lawyer and also for a politician. A lawyer has to properly present their knowledge of the different legal procedures in a proper and clear form before the court. One of the famous Greek orators by the name Demosthenes was considered to be a great orator during his days. In the same manner, many centuries ago, there was another roman orator namely Cicero who was also very skilled in oration. Cicero was a man who had thorough knowledge in many subjects such as astronomy, philosophy, geometry and music. Along with this deep subject knowledge, he also had a great sense of using rhetoric and eloquence in bring out the points and listing before the audience. In addition to the above mentioned names, there were countless other great orators across the several centuries in both the political and literary arena.
