Rss And Blogging

Thanks to RSS (Real Simple Syndication), the content on your website can be shown to internet users across the world. Any news that is fed through RSS can make its way to any RSS reader. Infact, major websites such as Google News, is based on taking in the RSS feeds and displaying them. Any news opened on Google News will take the user to the source of the content, which brings in another source of traffic, backward links, and better search engine rankings.

On a similar note, many blogging software such as Wordpress comes with RSS installed. In a matter of minutes, you can have Wordpress installed in a directory such as www.yoursite.com/blog. Wordpress will keep search engine spiders coming back and the blogs are created with SEO in mind so they’re search engine friendly. Most importantly, the content in your blog can be syndicated. Blog search sites on the internet only index RSS feeds from blogs, which brings in another source of traffic to your site. Just remember to put a link on your blog to your website. Most blogs designs have top or side bars made to contain links or buttons.
