Recruiting Network Marketing Rockstars, How To Do It?
However today I would like to talk to you about the basic mistakes people make when they call or just talk to prospects. For a very long time I have been working with the basics of Mike Dillards BlackBelt Recruiting training and I think it is wise for you to get to know these principles a little better. Mistake #1: Most people will say NO, so adopt that mindset! When you just accept that most people will say NO! then you can be more relaxed about it and you can realize that you are just looking for an answer instead of looking for a YES! Some people even look for a 100 NO's because they know that numbers will matter. This however is something to discuss about since you do want to really get in touch with these people and not just say "Yes hello are you interested and then hang up again". As you might know by now, PEOPLE buy from PEOPLE(and more specifically from leaders that they trust)!! So adapt the mindset by using these 4 SW's: Some Will Some Won't So What Somebody is always Waiting Mistake #2: TAKE ACTION! As you might know many people let their fears control their lives as I also teach to my students during coaching and trainings. In the case of taking MASSIVE action, people have the nice and comforting belief "I first need to know everything about the company and all the things around it and THEN I can start" This belief however, is BULLSHIT! When you are just getting started with your business you will have a lot of energy, a lot of enthusiasm en excitement. You want to use that energy to keep going, start working, start calling start doing because this will affect your downline and will make your business grow even faster. By being afraid of making mistakes you will get nowhere until you take action. You will learn more by calling 100 people than by reading and watching video's about some topic you "first NEED to learn". So TAKE MASSIVE ACTION IMMEDIATELY! Mistake #3: People try to sell/convince their prospect It is NOT your job to sell your product or opportunity. By convincing people or maybe better TRYING to convince people they will feel that you are TRYING to hard. It will not feel as if you are a leader that can teach them how to get to the top. So as I have said before in my piece about Mike Dillard's Magnetic Sponsoring and his FREE attraction marketing trainingvideo's you want to "sell" yourself (or maybe your upline) and show how your team can support them, can help them to grow, can help them to learn the first steps and most important can help them to learn how to make AS MANY MISTAKES AS POSSIBLE so that they can grow as fast as possible. One can only grow by taking action, taking action will cause mistakes so the more action you take, the more mistakes you make and the more you learn. The more you learn the better leader you will become and the more people will follow you. SO, the more mistakes you make the more money you will make. Just to be clear, when you have a good leader who you can follow then you can count on the fact that he or maybe his mentor has made mistakes for you and can take you to the $$$ A LOT easier. Personally I always say that "It is good to make mistakes and learn the lessons in life, unless someone else has learnt the lessons for you." The importance in this is that your mentor will EXPLAIN you all the mistakes he made so you don't have to make them again. This last part seems quite obvious but it is not for a lot of people who would like to be a leader but only want to share their successes and not their mistakes to their team.
