Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

The goal of this article is to inform you and inspire you to live a more environmentally aware lifestyle. We have come to take for granted the luxuries of clean water and safe food. Even the air that we breathe is quickly becoming saturated with pollution. Don't think that just because you live in a rural area, that you are safe from toxic influences. Fertilizers and pesticides have leached into your water sources and contaminated your dairy products, meat and garden produce.

We are all responsible for this situation. Our belief that some one else will take care of the problem has made us indifferent. But there are many ways to improve our environment, and each one of us has a responsibility to do all that we can. We all like new and improved things. Try thinking "tried and true" as being better than "new and hyped up" repetitive buying. Reducing the amount of new things that we use, by reusing old items for their intended purposes, is a good way to make a difference in our impact on this planet. We can also reuse old items for new and creative purposes. Recycling is a way of preventing the depletion of our natural resources and preventing the creation of toxic waste created by the manufacturing process. When your things have outlived their usefullness to you, try donating them . You'll be cleaning out your clutter and putting less into landfills and dumps.

Your health and the health of Mother Earth will improve if you walk more and drive less. Our dependence on oil has contributed to our air, ground, and water pollution crisis. And all of the exhaust from our cars, buses, trucks, and manufacturing processes have seriously altered our weather.

Healthier, safer, and more eco-friendly manufacturing processes are desperately and immediately needed.

Going green is not an all or nothing lifestyle. Do a little or a lot. We can and should all do something to clean up the mess that we have created. Pollution and global warming do not have to be the legacy that we leave to our children. Try carrying your own mug to the coffee shop, and recycle those soda cans and water bottles. Cleaning with vinegar and baking soda instead of bleach will be better for our planet and for your health. Try eating, wearing and living with a few organic products. You'll like the lifestyle and it can save you money, as well.

Reducing, reusing and recycling will help to clean up our Earth, and insure that our children and grandchildren inherit a healthier planet.

If we all live wisely and get involved by reducing, reusing, and recycling, our Mother Earth will begin to heal, and so will we.

So please read the articles presented here, and browse the store for reuseable items that may interest you. Everything in the store is organic. Some is used and some is new. The price is right, too.
