Reducing Breast Cancer Risk

Research from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine found that black cohosh/Remifemin can lower the risk of breast cancer by as much as 60 percent.

Researchers looked for correlations between dietary supplement usage and the incidence of breast cancer, comparing products including phytoestrogens, isoflavones, red clover, soy, black cohosh and others.

Fifteen out of 17 supplements produced no significant results. But women using black cohosh/Remifemin had a much lower risk of developing breast cancer than did women who didn't use it.

Proprietary Remifemin, the world's most researched black cohosh extract, is considered safe for women who should not take estrogen.
