Reducing Stress With Hypnosis

If stress is ruining your life, you know you have to do something about it. Many people find that merely knowing that they are stressed increases the pressure because they don’t know how to make it go away. Some might even try alcohol or other substances to help them relax but this only serves to increase stress both physically and mentally.

Hypnosis is a very real solution to stress. It doesn’t involve prescription or over the counter medication, hospitalization, in-house treatment or other methods that can disrupt your life. A few sessions with a certified hypnotherapist could be the perfect solution for you.

It is important to deal with stress rather than just bravely soldier on, thinking it is bound to get better. Many times, it doesn’t. Stress is a factor in both heart attacks and stroke and at least 75% of visits to medical professionals are linked to stress.

Stress is responsible for poor performance both at work and at home, interruption of sleep cycles and even insomnia. As your reactions to stress get worse, you may even turn to alcohol or other substances to get some temporary relief—which only increases your level of stress!

Hypnotism allows you to empower yourself with tools to deal with stress on a subconscious level. The subconscious mind is where our memories and experiences dictate our conscious actions. The stress you feel from your job may have nothing to do with your work—it could be that it triggers an unpleasant memory or experience that you aren’t aware of, causing you to be nervous and even fearful.

A license hypnotherapist, after evaluating your goals, will help you into a state of awareness that opens up your subconscious and allows it to be susceptible to suggestion. When a suggestion is made in this state of awareness, it bypasses your conscious mind and goes directly to the subconscious where it is seated and remains until you remove it. Your therapist will make some suggestions of some positive ways that you can deal with stress, ways that take the pressure off your mind and body while allowing you to face the issue causing the stress.

Let’s say that work is what stresses you most. Your therapist will give your subconscious suggestions to deal with that, such as once stress is detected you will relax and breathe deeply for a moment. You will then address the problem calmly, knowing that you have a solution and are able to control the situation.

By reducing stress with hypnosis, you can increase your performance at work. A relationship may be causing your stress and if so, you will be able to deal with that stress, too. Hypnotism is a positive experience with positive results, replacing negative input and reactions. People who control stress with hypnotism have even been proven to be physically healthier than those who do not.
