Reverse Cell Phone Lookups - 2 Methods
Let's start with the free methods. Usually, when you want to know who just called, you can type the number into you favorite search engine and hope for the best. Here's the problem with them: you can't know how accurate the results are, if you get any results at all. Search engines get their information from forms that are filled out on the internet. The problem with this is the search engines don't know who filled out the form, and whether or not the information given is accurate, or someone giving out bad information either as a joke or to avoid giving their own info. The second method is to use a reverse phone directory, often referred to as a reverse cell lookup. Calling them a reverse cell lookup is somewhat of a misnomer, since they can also identify landlines in addition to cell phones. The only downside to using them is they charge a small fee for their services. The upside to them is the information they give is highly accurate, and you get your results in seconds. These services are often maintained by groups of private investigators who owe no allegiance to the phone company, and can therefore share the information as they choose. Having used both methods, I can tell you from experience that the small fee I paid to the reverse cell lookup was well worth it considering the amount of info I got, and how quickly I got it.
