Review Of The Popular Medicine For Impotence Treatment

Erectile dysfunction is a medical condition that affects millions of men: the fast pace of life, the stress we are under every day and the amount of junk food that we consume often lead to the inability to perform sexually. This disability in men manifests itself in decreased libido and soft erection. Since ancient times masculinity was directly linked to the ability to perform sexually, which is why men all over the globe have been looking for the best possible cure.

Still, even to date no cure for impotence exists, but this condition can be successfully treated and its symptoms suppressed. And with no doubt, the best treatments, at least at the time of this writing, are the synthetic anti-impotence drugs. Viagra was the first ED drug, approved by the FDA and sold in the US and almost all over the World. And it was instant success – Viagra was labeled the "magic blue pill" since it worked really well for most men with impotence, regardless what caused it. Once the rising demand for anti-impotence medication was noticed by other pharmaceutical companies, they started developing their own pills and Cialis and Levitra were approved by the FDA in 2003 as ED drugs. Cialis, which is actually tadalafil 5mg or 10mg pills, was the latest to be released, but had advantages over the other two pills – its effect lasts for up to 36 hours and the pill isn't affected by alcohol or food consumption.

Tadalafil 5mg, 20mg and 10mg is also sold under different trade names rather than Cialis, and this group is known as generic Cialis; the only difference between the brand name pill and its generic counterparts is in the name and the price tag. The generics are manufactured by companies, which didn't have to endure all the initial marketing and production costs. They just started producing pills, containing tadalafil as the main active component, and these pills are as effective as the brand name Cialis. All three erectile dysfunction drugs work in the same way. They react with certain enzymes in the male's body, which cause decreased blood flow to the penis. And the decreased blood flow leads to the disability to achieve or sustain an erection.

It should be noted that as the erectile dysfunction pills might cause some side effects, which are usually rare or minor, the drugs should be taken responsibly and as prescribed.

Getting diagnosed with ED does not mean you will never have normal sex life as the anti-impotence medications work really well for most men and help them rekindle their relationships.
