There are many choices and courses your life might take. Here I am going to outlay one to you that is complete and should be very fulfilling to even the most demanding person. It's challenging and it involves Rocket Chinese.

In a job going nowhere? Looking for a new beginning? China is at the forefront of innovation and is a powerhouse of traded goods. Why not make a plan to go and share in this great challenge?

Here's what you'll need : Start learning Chinese with Rocket Chinese, find a language buddy in China and work at it for 6 months. By that time you'll be good enough (well beyond beginner level if you've been putting in enough time) to up sticks and head for China.

Before you leave, do some investigation and pick a Chinese export product or product category that interests you, one even that you have some competence in. Then research the core area where that product is produced (most business categories tend to congregate in one particular area in China).

Upon arrival in China, head for your core area and make contact with factories. Go visit the factories and get a relationship going with them. Examine the product styles and ascertain those which are selling well and in which countries. Armed with this information obtain samples and pay for a small booth advertising them preferable with your own brand at an International Fair, preferably a major one in Hong Kong or on the Chinese mainland. And take it from there...

This may sound like it is easier to say than do, not so, many have actually done it and there's plenty of room for more. Clients want to buy from someone who can give them the accuracy and attention they need.
