Russell Solomon Makes Creating Believable Characters An Art Form

The author Russell Solomon may not be well known as a published author. After all, he only released his first published novel, titled “The Lost Pendulum of Montrose,” in October 2010. Yet his writing skills are impeccable due in large part to a career in journalism in Southern California as well as an incredible natural talent with the written word. With his knack for the written word as well as years of experience under his belt as a writer, it is not a surprise, then, to learn that his first book is making some noise in the literary world. This author, quite simply, makes creating believable characters into an art form.

Russell Solomon has another talent that few are aware of. For years, he also has worked as an amateur archeologist and has developed an extensive understanding of this area of science. He has used this background as well as his strong writing talents to masterfully create the two main characters of his book. Thomas Hansen is a paleontologist, and Caroline Morgan is an anthropology professor in the book. Together, this unsuspecting duo is called to aid in an excavation of a burial site where the remains of twelve women have been found. The pair, with its incredible scientific background, pieces together clues and uncovers evidence that eventually leads to an intelligent and highly dangerous conclusion that the site is related to an occult society that features some pretty elite members.

The Russell Solomon novel is an incredibly intelligent work that features highly advanced levels of thinking in archeology, paleontology and anthropology. The characters have been thoroughly developed, in large part due to Solomon's interest and background in these areas himself. He is currently working on a second novel, another science fiction thriller that is sure to be as engaging and intelligent as his first published work.
