1. Write Well
You can get the best of your content while writing it well and throwing some keywords into the content. Adding some special keywords wouldn't hurt as long as you stay to subject.

2. Be Relevant
You have to stay focused on the subject you are writing about. From the blog title to meta description. To better understand it here's an example if you writing about cars stay on your niche, don't write about if you celebrity went to rehab.

3. Don't overdo it
You don't have to stuff all the words inside your mind in meta keywords. I have seen some website literally having hundreds of keywords. This is big no in SEO. This will penalize your site in the search results.

4. Write Unique Content
Unique content is pretty simple to understand. If you have unique content then people will link to you which results in back links and content will start moving the web.

5. Be Patient
Patience is also big part of whole SEO. Some people just lose hope after few weeks or a month. Search Engine Optimization is not something that would be done in weeks. It takes some time.
