So, what’s new? Every other company claims to bring your business to top. However, it’s not possible. Millions of SEO’s are thriving and everyone claiming they have the ability to make you rule the web. It sounds more like a salesman pitch!

Just think about this! If all the companies have achieved the result, then Google would have a horizontal display instead of vertical one, to accommodate all the #1 rankers. No doubt, all clients would want top position for their website, but companies need to be realistic when they claim unmatchable results. It would sound something like this-“Oh yes, that’s achievable, but we absolutely can’t promise it…”

No matter how big a SEO company is, at times client expectations leave them dumb. If you are lucky you may get clients who know the basics of SEO but unfortunately most don’t. So it is better to get an idea of what clients usually expect or you may be in for a big surprise.

You may have helped your client to move up in SERP rankings. Let’s say his website jumps from the 375th position to the 20th position, the client starts expecting that soon it will reach the first position. He doesn’t understand that moving up the top pages is a lot tougher than the back end pages.

At times it has been seen that at times clients transfer a major portion of their responsibilities onto the shoulders of the SEO people. If you can meet their expectations then all is well but when you can’t then the resulting picture is dismal.

Competitions are increasing nowadays, and client expectations are higher. Be patient if you want good ranking for your site, as it may take months or years to achieve the target. SEO is continuous and everyone does their best to fulfill the target. It’s not now, but your turn may come up other day. This thought is perhaps more rational for SEO.
