More and more people use online services for their day to day activities like shopping, corresponding, sending mail, online banking and also for their work. Once you install antivirus software, it will check all your files for adware or spyware, and you can program it to run a check daily when you start your computer. Infected files can be dealt with and deleted, and safeguards set, so that you are notified when there is another installation attempt on your computer. You can even set your program to alert you with a sound or an alert whenever there is another attempt to install these unwanted viruses on your computer.
