Safety And Security
To improve security in our homes, we install burglar bars at the windows, trying to prevent potential thieves to gain easy access to our home. These burglar bars do nothing to improve the appearance of the house. They serve only one purpose, to keep the bad people out. We fit the doors with security gates. They are impersonal pieces of security we have to install, to improve our sense of security in your own house. We install alarm systems, warning us of intruders inside the house. Some of these alarm systems, where you pay a monthly fee, have armed response units, that will be charging in with loaded guns, ready to help protect you and your property. We build high fences, put perimeter sensors on them to alert us of movement in the yard. We install buzzers at the outside gates. People have to announce themselves before we open the gate for them. No more spontaneous visits or a casual dropping by to see how you are, because we were just in the neighborhood. No longer can you just rock up to somebody’s front door, knock and stay for a quick cup of coffee. You have to let the people know in advance of your intention to visit. We feel as if we are living in a war zone. Nothing is safe, nothing is sacred anymore. We install a motor at the garage door, accompanied with a garage door remote. We have duplicates programmed for the people of the house that need to get in and out of the garage. You can now start your car, open the garage from the inside, take out your car, and without getting out, you can safely close the garage door. The same applies for when you get back from wherever it was that you had to drive to. You do not have to get out of the car, you sit safely inside your car, press the button on the garage garage door remote, and the garage door will open. The garage door remote will be programmed to turn on a light inside the garage, making it as clear as daylight and safe for you. Then while you are still inside your car, you can once again press the button on the garage door remote, and the garage door will close. Fortunately, the garage door remote is not just for safety and security, it is also a great help in bad weather, who likes getting sopping wet in a rain downpour? You do not have to get out a cumbersome umbrella from the car in order to unlock and open the garage door anymore. The handy little remote will do it all for you.
