The university provides quality, military-friendly education through: educational programs that recognize the value of previous military experience; educational programs that promote the advancement of military-based careers; and financial aid assistance programs like voluntary participation in the Yellow Ribbon Program, an extension of the Post 9/11 GI Bill.

SLU has several rewarding educational programs to select from, including the Criminal Justice Program, which is partnered with the FBI National Academy Associates; the Master of Education, which may be taken on-campus for Florida teaching credentials, or online for a foundation before pursuing credentials in another state; and several other rewarding programs tailored to the needs of a student's individual interests.

G.I. Jobs magazine's recognition of Saint Leo University as one of the top 15% of all colleges, universities, and trade-schools nationwide for active duty, reserve, and veterans is a great honor. Eight million military members and veterans are currently in search of a school that offers quality education and military-friendly programs, staff, and alumni. SLU welcomes these students and strives to continually be the best choice for military students of all levels of experience and education.
