The new Samsung SMX-C10 camcorder is said to be one of the best camcorders coming out this summer. With the option to record up to six hours on a memory card there is no better way to record those special moments.
The Samsung SMX-C10 is a slim camcorder that offers a brilliant video record quality. Its Active Angle Lens has been designed in a way that reduces the tiredness of the user by giving them a more relaxed grip on the camcorder. This new design should theoretically help the user keep the camera steady and in effect improve the quality of the images recorded, especially when you throw in the Hyper Image Stabilization technology created by Samsung.
The camera has been given approximately two hours and 40 minutes of record time on a single charge of the battery which makes it a very enduring digital camcorder. On the highest quality setting, the camera is able to record up to 3 hours of footage on an 8GB memory card, and up to 6 hours on a 16GB card.
The Samsung SMX-C10 also has a 10x optical zoom, a 2.7-inch wide swivelling LCD screen which can be used as a viewfinder, and a built-in intelli-studio program which allows the user to easily edit videos on the camera and then with the press of one button upload them to YouTube.
The SMX-C10 also comes with a ‘Time-lapse’ function which allows the user to take an image every 1, 3, 5, 10, 15 or 30 seconds and then view them in a row as if watching a movie. This mode can be very handy for filming things that would normally seem slow but thanks to the time delay in pictures is sped up when watching them back.
The Samsung SMX-C10 is currently available in two different versions; platinum black and vibrato red.
The camera’s battery is charged via a USB port which can be used with an adapter in your mains socket or directly from your computer.
