Victim or predator? Sara Stokes gets arrested for domestic Violence!
There is huge buzz around the Stokes stabbing! In current hip hop gossip, Sara Stokes, of MTB season 2, stabbed her husband Chris Stokes on August 2nd, 2009. You may remember Sara and the eventful season 2 of Making The Band. After all of the fighting and drama, Sara among other artists, earned a place on Diddy's team forming the group known as Da Band. Though the band was eventually dismantled Ms. Stokes was verily remembered, in part, due to her amazing vocals. Her relationship with husband Chris Stokes was recorded and gossiped about long after the season ended. Chris was seemingly very controlling and mean during the clips and conversations between him and Sara aired throughout the season. Many of you may recall that Sara was usually a level head in the mass of confusion that 'Da Band' inevitably produced. However, her husband 'talked her into' making a stand about the band's sound. She and Mr. Stokes wanted the band's sound to lead towards pop rather than the urban sound Diddy had 'Da Band' creating! Needless to say that pissed off her band mates, severely!
Well from there, things seemed to escalate. Friends and family of the vocalist released statements that Chris is abusive to Sara, verbally and physically, which created a stir in the rising stars image since she has never spoken publically about her alleged abuse. The story is that on August 2nd, 2009, Sara left the house in an uproar and consequently fell on her face! Then her husband went to help her and 'somehow' got stabbed in the arm!? Yeah, quite suspect! The Stokes's lawyer released a statement that didn't help clarify the allegations stating, "Sara and Tony have a very passionate and loving relationship that on August 2, while having an evening of fun, she slipped and fell, hitting her head heavily on the ground and somehow in the process of helping her Tony got injured." Seriously? Come on now, if that statement had any iota of truth in it, it's an invisible truth! At the end of the day, Sara was released on $50,000 bail and her face was bashed up! Now, how did she stab Chris for helping her up off of her face? I dunno' but until Sara comes forward this will remain a mystery, to the public at least!
