Save Money And Get A Great Look For Your Daughter's Room

Is your daughter hinting to you about creating a new theme for her bedroom? Maybe it is based around one of her favorite characters that she likes. Are you worried this may cost a lot of money? Well you will be surprised with a few helpful tips you can create a nice looking theme for less then you think.

Money Saving Tip #1

Starting with the bedding set to get an idea of what kind of theme your daughter likes. Start looking around online at some of the stores that carry toddler bedding or twin bedding. You can usually find some great deals at some of the online stores. If your daughter is into a particular theme such as the adorable Tinkerbell toddler bedding you can save time and money just by shopping online and will only have to leave the house to go pick up the parcel.

Money Saving Tip #2

Save money and make your own room accessories. If you have some material hanging around your house why not see it you can use it to make some coordinating curtains or a window topper for your daughter's room. Using a very simple design, nothing fancy and just use a straight stitch across. Or you could pick up some cheap material at the fabric store and create your own.

For some cool ideas on wall decor you could go online and look for some free pictures that will go with your theme and print them out to the size that you like. You can also go over to a dollar store and see what other room decor you can pick up for a good price add to your theme. Some ideas would be to look at tie backs for your curtains. Now depending on your theme you could just go with generic things. You could look for nylon fairies and some lace, glue the fairies on and tie back with the lace. These would be great with a lot of themes. You could also look for larger fairies or any other type of nylon figure and place these items on your walls to create an adorable room.
