Save With Do-it-youself Caramel Frappuccinos

Complicated espresso beverages have gone from luxury to pretty much compulsion for the majority Americans. Potentially one of the most preferred beverages in coffee houses across the North American continent is the Caramel Frappuccino. However, a middle-sized Frappuccino can set you back $4 to $5! At these prices, your coffee habit can put you in the poor house! To protect you from both crappy coffee and diminished amount of cash in your bank account, read on for quick and easy directions for creating your home-made, budget-friendly Caramel Frappuccino.

Set out:
1/2 cup of powerful just-brewed coffee
Same amount of milk
3 tbsp of sugar
2 cups of cubed or crushed ice
3 tablespoons of caramel syrup
Whipped topping

Make your coffee in your regular coffee maker. But, make the coffee at least a third stronger than you usually enjoy it. Café Frappuccinos are prepared with espresso, and the ice will thin the coffee.

Then, pour the brew into a blender. Stir in milk, the sugar, ice cubes, and the caramel. The caramel you use as a topping for your ice cream already will work wonderfully. Now, stir the ingredients until it is a similar consistency as a shake.

Strain the creation into a big cup and enhance with whipped cream. Voila! You have prepared your individualized gourmet Caramel Frappuccino!

The biggest of the positives of preparing your Caramel Frappuccinos on your own, aside from the money you will save, is the ability to adjust the ingredients to your preferred taste. If you usually prefer a more powerful coffee flavor, make the brew stronger. You won’t want to just add more weak coffee in the beverage, because that will just further dilute your Frappuccino. You may want to reduce the sweetener or use 2% milk instead of the whole milk the majority of coffee houses use.

Yet another thought is to prep your java drinks in advance. If you can’t find few minutes to make your Frappuccino in the early hours before you leave for work, you can prep the coffee before you go to bed. Just stir the mixture but leave out the ice, then stick it in the refrigerator until you want it. Before you leave for work, pour the blend over fresh ice. The consistency won’t be the same, but the flavor should remain!

Practice mixing your special Caramel Frappuccinos yourself, and you won’t ever have the urge to frequent another coffee house for your fix!
