Science Fair Projects Tips On How To Make A Display Board

One of the last things that you do when working on a science fair project is to make a display board. The display board is a visual representation of the steps that you took to complete your science fair project. It is also what the science fair judges are going to use to score your project.

Step #1 - Figure Out What the Board Will Include

The content that you put on your science fair project display board is going to depend on what your science fair project is all about. It will need information on each step that you took to complete your project, it will need a narrative and it will need graphics.

Step #2 - Add a Title to Your Project Board

The next step is to add a main title to your project display board. The title needs to explain what your project is all about and it needs to attract attention. You need to make sure that you use a font size that is larger than the other text on your board so that it stands out.

Step #3 - Divide Your Board Into Segments

The next step is to divide your display board into several sections. Each section will be dedicated to one step in your project. You will need at least seven sections, one for each step in the scientific method.

Step #4 - Create Text Panels

Step four is to create your text panels. The text panels will explain what went on in each step. Make sure to use guidelines when creating your text panels.

Step #5 - Graphic Panels

The final step is to create your graphic panels. These panels will be made up of graphs, charts, photographs and other visual representations of your work. You can also add 3D models to your display area.
