Secrets About Affiliate Programs For Only Newbies

This article is primarily for newbies. Don’t be trapped by so called gurus.
The problem is that the marketing books and the so-called "experts" continue to rehash the same twenty year old techniques. But here's something you can bank on: if those techniques aren't working for you now, there's no miracle that's going to make them work any better in the future. Stick with them, and you put your business at serious risk.

The point is to that now many websites offer reviews. People like to see reviews before they buy something. In this way they can see pros and cons, the big picture or at least acknowledge the counter-arguments that exist (even if they don’t agree with them).

Now there are many sites that do not own any products, they are just reviewing them. Why? Because someone searching for something will come across these sites, read the reviews, and potentially buy the products. These sites will be affiliate with both products and will earn a commission for everyone they sell.

Well, go on…

The credibility of the website will be a big factor in whether people feel that the information in the review is valuable, because people don’t like to buy from websites that don’t look credible.
Anyone could set up a site like this to make money. All you need is a short review of the book or a program or whatever you want to promote – much of the information can be grabbed off the book’s or program’s websites.

You don’t always have to buy the book and read it before writing the review. When starting out, many affiliates simply take the information from the product site and write it into a short review. But if you want to do a more in-depth review, you could try emailing the website owner and say that you are an affiliate and that you wish to write a review, and then ask for a free copy. At least half the time the website owner will respond positively!

People would not write such lengthy pages – just as they wouldn’t produce those 5 minute infomercials – if they didn’t work. So there is a lot of information in the main sales pages for the product and the reason for this is because it works!

Important…

95% of people do not realize that the reviewer is making money from the site. They see it as purely informative – to their own benefit. And even if they do realize that the reviewer is making money, they usually still appreciate having such relevant information in one place.
If the product sells for example for $67 – and if we click on the affiliate link, we can see that affiliates earn 51% per sale, around $34 dollars.

If you are a newbie and don’t have a website or don’t know how to design a simple website, set up a domain name, get a website hosted, or edit a website, there are affiliate programs that give you a website and all training to start a business. These affiliate programs can also give you a website with review content.

Don’t be discouraged, there is always way out of any hard situation.
