Senate Goes By $1.4 Billion Food Safety Bill

A food safety bill approved a Senate vote Tuesday after being delayed by politics for more than a year. A spate of food-borne illnesses in the last year has shed light on the have to provide the FDA with much more resources to detect and prevent contaminated food.
