With all the turmoil and pain in the world today there is no greater need for a change of heart of the people of the world than now. There are wars around the globe killing millions of innocent civilians every year. I hear otherwise good people calling for the general annihilation of the Muslim people because they fear a terrorist attack in the United States. It is now okay to perform torture on prisoners in the name of goodness and safety. Wow! Whatever happened to two wrongs don’t make a right?
What is the solution to all of the violence and mayhem in the world today? Only one thing, the mindset of human beings must change for the better, especially the elite members of society and their political puppets. What would happen if everyone suddenly got the mindset of unity and love for their fellow man? No doubt we would see a huge improvement in the world situation. Peace and compromise would be the order of the day, not bombing and murder of innocents.
Okay, we all know that changing the human mindset would change the world for the better, but how to do it? I believe the way to change the mindset of humanity is for a certain percentage of the world to become enlightened. This small enlightened percentage would have such a powerful effect on the collective consciousness of the planet that people would begin to think differently. Kind of like the hundredth monkey idea. Where you get enough monkeys doing something new and suddenly all the monkeys the world over begin to do it too because of the collective consciousness of monkeys.
You might be thinking, “Hasn’t there already been groups of people meditating on world peace etc.” You are right there have been several large groups of people organized to meditate on world peace, but they obviously have not been that effective. Why not? The reason they were not that effective is because a few thousand unenlightened individuals, no matter how good their intentions, could hardly make a dent in the collective consciousness of 6 ½ billion people. It takes real power to affect a collective that large. A hand full of enlightened people meditating on world peace would be about a million times more powerful than a few thousand unenlightened people meditating on world peace.
If enough people can become enlightened in time, then there is hope for the world, otherwise…
That is why I propose that you and your friends become enlightened, so you can save the world!
