The statue of Christ the Redeemer in Brazil is also 39.6 m tall and weighs 700 tons and is placed at the peak 700 m high. An archaeological site in Jordan, Petra has always wooed people who come and become spellbound. A very spectacular view is provided by the Machu Pichu in Peru. A very different and surprising structure is the Chichen Itza Pyramid in Mexico which was made by the Mayan civilisation. The Colosseum in Rome and Taj Mahal in India are also two amazing sights that are included in the Seven Wonders of the World.
