Spring is almost here. For many of you, Spring may be warm enough to head to the beaches. If not, you just might be heading out of town for Spring break vacation. In any case, it's time to start shopping for a few sexy bikinis for this Spring and Summer. If you are one of the ladies who has a difficult time finding swimwear that is perfect, follow these guidelines for shopping and you will be one of the hottes girls at the beach! If you have one of those builds called an “apple shape,” finding the right suit might feel like the bane of your existence, but it doesn’t have to. Don’t be afraid to get a suit with decoration – frills such as draping or ruching around your middle will play down your trouble areas. Swimwear, for your type, should be a little more on the feminine side. Try to find swimwear with floral prints or any kind of adornment. It will prevent you from looking more "boxy" than you already are.

If you have a “pear shaped build,” with a much narrower waist than hips By all means stay away from the “boy short” type suit bottoms, that cut off at the widest point on your hips. You’re better off going with a higher cut, which will flatter your waist and lengthen your legs. Perhaps if you're still feeling self conscious you could try a swim cover up or serape. Look for something that still reveals your chest.

For you girls who’ve been told you have a “boy build,” you’re used to looking great in whatever you throw on, but swimwear might be a whole different kettle of fish. If you want to make sure your look is feminine enough, go for a floral print, just to keep things girly and sweet. If string bikinis are too boring for you try a monokini. It still reveals a lot of skin but also are more decorative and feminine.

There are plenty of easy guidelines for other body types, too. Halters are also great because they tie at the back of your neck, so you can adjust them depending on how much support you want.
