The Essentials: All the basics that a baby needs can be quite pricey. Buy a basket or hamper and fill it with things like pacifiers, diapers, onesies, bottles, and bibs. Dress it up a little with a cute stuffed animal or a toy for baby. All of those things will be useful in the months to come after the baby is born including the basket or hamper.

These gifts may not be useful for everyday, but they contain sentimental value that will be carried on for years to come.

Make a little basket full of all those must have storybooks for every little girl or boy, that way mom and dad can read to them until their old enough to read to themselves.
