Shopping In Atlanta’s Smyrna-vinings Area

The Smyrna-Vinings area on Atlanta’s northwest side is a busy section of town offering lots of excellent shopping. Cumberland Mall, the Cobb Galleria Specialty Shops, and Vinings Jubilee are the big draws in this area. With locations close to I-75 and I-285, shoppers have easy access to all their favorite stores.

Cumberland Mall is located just inside I-285 off South Cobb Drive. The mall recently underwent a major renovation. Anchor stores are Macy’s, Sears, and Costco. Shoppers will find a variety of specialty stores at the mall including American Eagle Outfitters, Chico’s, Gap, White House/Black Market, Express, Victoria’s Secret, Soma Intimates, Kay Jewelers, DSW Shoes, and Bath & Body Works. Cumberland Mall has extended hours during the holiday season. Children may visit with Santa from November 19-December 24. Some of the area’s most popular restaurants are located right at Cumberland Mall. After the shopping is completed, stop for a meal at Ted’s Montana Grill, Maggianos Little Italy, Stoney River Legendary Steaks, The Cheesecake Factory, or P.F. Chang’s China Bistro.

The Cobb Galleria Specialty Shops are located in the Cobb Galleria Convention Centre, at the intersection of I-285 and U.S. 41 (Cobb Parkway). Anna’s Place and Design Faze Boutique offer women’s apparel and accessories. Peter Glen of Vermont specializes in winter apparel and ski and snowboard equipment. Affinity carries jewelry and home accessories, and Lillie Glassblowers has beautiful crystal creations. Other shops carry jewelry and gift items. There are also hair salons, a day spa, and restaurants. These shops are convenient for those attending functions at the convention center.

Vinings Jubilee is a collection of boutiques, one of a kind specialty shops, and restaurants in a village setting. The area is beautifully landscaped and is a gathering place for the community. Shoppers will find familiar favorites such as Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Loft, Talbots, and Mori Luggage & Gifts, as well as locally owned specialty shops. Sandpiper and Francesca’s Collections offer women’s apparel and accessories. Limetree carries Vera Bradley items and a great selection of other gifts. Shoppers can enjoy a variety of restaurants including Vinings Fish Company, SOHO, Noche Tequila & Tapas Bar, and Garrison’s Broiler & Tap. Vinings Jubilee is located in the heart of the Vinings neighborhood on Paces Ferry Road, approximately one mile inside I-285.
