Simple Steps To Migraine PreventionAnyone who has ever suffered from a migraine knows that this particular pain can stop you in your tracks. The exact cause of this particular head pain can vary from person to person; however, studies show that teen girls and women have the highest chances of developing the symptoms. One study suggests that this particular headache is caused by a drop in the female hormone known as estrogen. This is why women and young girls have a higher tendency of getting a migraine just prior to their menstrual cycle. Women who are on birth control usually develop their symptoms during the off weeks. However, these strong headaches are not an exact science. While some women stop getting these head throbbing pains when they start menopause, other women start getting them at the start of menopause. So it is quite difficult to predict a hypothesis regarding this illness. Other than hormones, some other triggers include lifestyle changes, environmental changes, bright lights, and unique smells (to name a few). So how are people treating these vicious migraines?
