Expert process management skills are necessary to identify and effectively communicate the wants and needs of the customer through excellent data collecting.

Six sigma green belt certification also looks at the individuals ability in project management basics such as problem solving, project scope and project metrics or measuring. It is important for the candidate for certification to demonstrate a solid knowledge of project tools, project documentation, project risk analysis as well as project closure. Team dynamics and performance, team communication, and in depth data analysis are also part of the examination process.

Six sigma green belt certification, in its truest definition, is very company tailored. Meaning the certification might not be transferable from company to company, even in the same town or if you cross county, regional or state lines. Be switching companies you might be required to start the certification process from scratch and start all over again in another location and company of employment.
