Skoda Fabia

In 1999, the Czech manufacturer presented its first-class model than the takeover by Volkswagen; Skoda had already made their entry into the world of good. Octavia was launched three years and announced a glorious future success for the new Skoda Fabia. Initial impressions were encouraging, being accompanied in the years following the very good sales. The boot is generous, the 300 liter value approaching those available on some models in the compact class. Safety is ensured by the presence in addition to head airbags.

So far we have spoken only of new things, changes and improvements. New Skoda Fabia is born still aging in Chapter engine, slightly modified. Offer, although rich, does not contain any really new engine. Petrol range includes well-known PAH 1.2, 60 and 70 hp, which hardly can cope with difficult body of new security standards. Larger engines, 1.4 and 1.6 liters, develop 85, 105 hp, the latter being available with a Tiptronic automatic gearbox.

In Chapter diesel, the new model is presented with the old 1.4-liter 3-cylinder and pump-injector system, available in two variants of power: 70 to 80 hp. Stronger version, 105 hp, has a large displacement of 1.9 liters, which translates to a loaded deck, availability to understeer, higher taxes and insurance.
