This journalist-turned-author has created a spell-bounding book that will give you chills throughout its pages. It is filled with supernatural creatures like goblins and ghosts. There are bones and ancient relics associated with mythical life and ritual arts.

The book starts with the discovery of women’s bones and ancient relics in a mass grave in Montrose, New Hampshire. It turns out that the bones relate to 12 different women, which is why Paleontologist Thomas Hansen is called in. Clue after clue keep the story moving, as the archaeology team and investigators begin excavating the macabre discovery. The goal is to find out why the mass grave exists and what the relics mean.

One of the artifacts that Hanson unearths is an ancient pendulum that has cryptic markings all over it. With some research, they discover that the markings relate to an occult society, which opens up a well-hidden list of secrets that everyone needs to figure out. They discover there are deviate practices and dark conspiracies going on.

Because of everything that is happening, Professor Caroline Morgan from the University of New Hampshire is called in to help. The two team up to solve this chilling mystery, as they try to figure out the unnerving puzzle. The suspense draws the reader in and pushes toward the end where the answers are hiding.

This book is the Southern California native’s first novel, as Russell Solomon brings forth a mystery thriller that will gather a long line of followers. With Solomon’s own experience with paleontology, he is able to bring forth a whole new way of sleuthing that is appealing and interesting, and will keep readers turning every page.
