Do work out an exercise and meal plan for this period until your body and mind has adapted to the fact that you are a non-smoker.

Consider finding yourself a friend / relative that wants to stop smoking with you. Tell your family and friends of your intention to quit smoking and ask them for support. Write down the things you think triggers your desire for a cigarette. Try and avoid these triggers and decide how you will deal with the triggers.

Nicotine patches nasal sprays, chewing gum and inhalers are all designed to help you overcome the nicotine cravings. If any of these products helps you to achieve your non smoking goals you won’t be a lesser person for using them. Just remember like for most goals in life your need a deep burning desire to succeed and be a non smoker for life.
