Furthermore, some thieves will phish for private information by sending you mail purporting to be from a genuine source. The information you supply will be used to attack you in one way or another. They will use it to steal your money or even forge your signature and use it to transact behind your knowledge. By the time you will know about this, you will have lost a lot. They may also request that you verify your information by clicking a certain web based link hence making you give away your precious information.

Social engineering media attack techniques are many and varied in nature and are all meant to make you lose in one way or another. By making you lose directly or indirectly, the authors of the trick will have achieved your aim. From forging authentic letters purporting to be from competent authority’s s to tricking you into giving away your assets or even privately stealing your information, these people will always devise many ways that will lead to great losses on your side in the long run.
