"solar Cost" Is Small
We're constantly trying to think of new ways to save money and do our bit towards saving the planet by conserving energy. We do all the usual everyday things like switching our lights off when not in use. We try to save water, we separate our rubbish into the relevant containers, we re-cycle our plastic bags. All this is such second nature to us now that we don't even have to think about such tasks. But what about generating our own electricity? We can all do this ourselves very cheaply if we put our minds to it. All the materials we would need for the project are widely available at our local DIY stores at very little cost. The solar cost is minimal. It could be your very own project of the year for you and your family. It can be done in stages and added to when you have the time and resources. By using step by step guides available for building solar panels and wind generators we can not only save on our own electricity but we can also sell any spare electricity generated to the national grid. They will pay us for it. Wouldn't it be good if we were paid money by the electricity companies instead of giving money to them each month? The more people that install these energy systems the better it will be for all of us and the easier it would become as more and more information is available from home owners that have first hand knowledge of how it all works. In the not too distant future the things we take for granted for our energy like gas and oil are going to run out, then what will we do? We will have to find other ways of heating our homes. There is just so much free energy available from the sun and the wind and we are not using these sources to our advantage anywhere near as much as we should be at the moment, and systems using solar cost less than other systems, although many homes are now starting to use the solar and wind generating systems now that it is becoming easier and cheaper to make for ourselves. You would need very little space in your garden for the windmill and the solar panels could be fitted on to your roof taking up no extra space. Instead of costing two or three thousand pounds to have a system installed by expensive companies, we could be spending two or three hundred pounds if we chose to build our own windmills and solar panels. Just think how good you would feel having achieved such an important goal. Also the money that we would be saving each month could be used for luxuries like the yearned for Caribbean Cruise, the new energy efficient car, paying off the mortgage, adding to our pensions, money to spend on the grandchildren. Even simple things like a new garden seat, a new patio set or just plants for the garden. The ideas are endless. I´m sure you can all think of hundreds of things you would like to buy but cannot at the moment because money is tight. Im sure our families and friends would all be very proud of us for installing these systems in our properties. They would all be coming to visit to see how its all made! And asking questions as to how t0hey can go about it themselves. If you have something new, then everyone is going to want it too. Think of how much easier it would be to sell your home if you had solar or wind energy systems installed. It would be a great selling point and would probably put a few thousand pounds onto the value of your property. Wouldn't this be a great way of helping towards our carbon footprint! It´s the one thing we should all be thinking about doing for the future of our children and grandchildren. The solar cost is reducing all the time. Take advantage now.
