Sony Ericsson M600 Mobile Phone Review

The M600 is the latest Smart phone from Sony Ericsson, and comes complete with all the tools you need in order to keep in touch with the office from anywhere in the world, as well as a whole range of great tools to make working as simple and friendly as possible.

The phone follows the classic lines established by the venerable T610 around 5 years ago, and is elegantly proportioned, and well made. It fits easily into the palm of the hand, and despite being slightly bulkier than most other models in the range, it is not that much larger than a conventional mobile phone.

The Sony Ericsson M600 is a sleek and smooth design that dispenses with many of the unnecessary features of modern models to concentrate on being a very good communicator. As such, it does not include a camera on board, although it does offer video calling.

The phone has a full QWERTY keyboard built into it, and this can be switched on from the keypad, which the phone normally uses for dialling. The buttons are multifunction and can be switched simply from one use to the other.

One of the best features of the Sony Ericsson M600 is the fact that it can come complete with GPS software called Co Pilot that will allow it to pinpoint your position anywhere in the world, and even offer route instructions to let you know how to get to your final destination.

The M600 supports all major messaging formats, and will allow you to access most email systems, as well as allowing access to Web based mail services such as Hotmail through its standard browser interface.

3G internet connection through the Sony Ericsson is fast and efficient, and most pages look very good in the large screen. It has a range of software on board connected to the internet including a range of file browsing services to allow users to read most major document formats including Microsoft Word and PDF.

Unlike many competing smart phones, the Sony Ericsson M600 has a very respectable battery life of more than 300 hours on standby from a full charge, although you will soon run this down using the internet, making calls, or using the GPS system, so make sure you take a charger with you whenever you hit the road.

Overall, the M600 is a very effective phone with few distractions that make it an excellent choice for business travellers looking for a powerful and elegant tool.
