Spanish And Surfing
While taking our preferred method of learning Spanish, also take a mind-break and have some fun learning to surf with the dependable winds and wave action that Costa Rica has to offer. Taking Spanish and Surfing is a fun and unique way to learn new talents. All levels of expertise in both Spanish and Surfing are offered from beginners to advanced classes from qualified instructors. During your Spanish and Surfing adventure, you will receive two hours in each field of study every day from Monday through Friday. We use the applied learning technique for teaching each subject. In the Spanish course this may mean scavenger hunts, board games, or a stroll along the sandy beach with your instructor. In the Surfing course and depending on your skill level, instructors will take you to the best and most appropriate locations in Costa Rica so you can master the art of surfing without fear and stress. In both Spanish and Surfing our instructors place you in an environment conducive to learning. You will be surrounded by other class members who are at the same skill level as yourself. So don’t be shy – just do it. Everyone is learning at the same pace. Spanish and Surfing lessons are both located in the beautiful area of Montezuma. You will be able to practice your new skills with the locals, and these friendly folks will help you improve in stress-free surroundings. Our most popular course is the one week Spanish and Surfing Program which includes two hours of Spanish classroom instruction each day, two hours of applied learning each day, books and instructional materials, a surfboard, two hours of surfing instruction and six nights accommodations at La Escuela Del Sol. We also offer two, three and four week Spanish and Surfing Programs with additional events and extended accommodations.
