Have you ever thought what it might be like to make passive income – making money while not really working hard to earn it every minute of every day? Many people have figured out this is not just a great way to make money, it is the only way to make money.

It doesn't even matter if you already have a brick and mortar "real" store for customers to walk into. Without a website with a fully functional shopping cart, you are losing easy money.

Did you just say it costs too much money to do this? Not any more! Sure, ten years ago even Wal-mart wasn't sure if they wanted to get involved in selling online. However, with new advances in technology, security, and credit card processing, not to mention do-it-yourself website templates, shopping carts and percentage based payment processors that don't require you to have or pay for full boat merchant accounts, you can expand your business from a boring one page website to a phenomenal money making machine with a little research, a little time, and very little technical know-how.

If you still don't believe you must have an eCommerce presence, do a quick Internet search on whatever you sell – toothbrushes, sod, whatever. See those other companies that come up? Those are ones who are going to grab your customers when they can't find you to buy from.
