Steve Carell Shined In Dinner For Schmucks Movie
The flick revolved around two guys named Tim (Paul Rudd) and Barry . Tim's looking for ways to ahead with his investment company,or as they put it,move from the 6th floor to the 7th floor. He comes up with a good idea,so his boss invites him to a dinner, which could decide the future of his promotion. Unfortunately, the dinner is no every day dinner. He must invite the very best idiot he can find because his colleagues always like to laugh at moronic people, and actually give awards out to the greatest idiot. Tim eventually discovers Barry, and thinks he would be a perfect fit because he collects dead rats and puts them in clothes. However, he didn't quite know what he was in for when he became friends with Barry. He essentially destroys Tim's romantic life and almost his business life within just 2 days. Barry invites a stalker ex-fling to Tim's house, sabotages a business meeting, drives Tim in a situation where has to propose to the stalker, throws Tim's back out, tosses Tim's Porsche keys into a stranger's apartment, and more. However, the film ends with a terrific storyline because Barry ends up fixing what was most essential to Tim. I thought the flick was freakin hysterical. It provided one humorous scene right after another. It was never mundane and very outrageous. There was some comedy in this movie that I've never experienced before. They really dug deep to draw out crazy laughs with this film. The premise was truly good. However,it really wouldn't have mattered if it wasn't, because the flick was just funny as hell. A total riot. Steve Carell was great as Barry. Everything you could think of to do wrong,he did it. It was insane. Oh, and there's a scene that showed a female puppet, accusing people of looking down her dress, which was totally hilarious.
