Stop Dog From Barking – Start Now

There is always a right time and a wrong time for your dog to bark. Well, if there are some strangers approaching, then it is probably okay for your dog to bark. But if your dog is barking for some other reasons, then it is probably not so okay after all.

Obviously, a barking dog will not only annoy you, but it will certainly annoy your neighbors, especially when your dog keeps on barking at night, causing you and your neighbors a sleepless night.

Fortunately, it is possible to train your dog to stop barking. But of course, before you even start training, you need to determine the reasons why your dog is barking. There are many possible reasons that can cause your dog to bark.

Of course, it is not always easy to identify the actual reason behind the barking. Some are easier to identify while others may not be so apparent. Some possible reasons for barking include but are not limited to your pet simply getting excited, just for fun or maybe because you are leaving the house.

Well, if your dog tends to bark when you are not at home, here is how you can train him to stop barking. First, just say goodbye to your dog. But don't make it a too dramatic event.

When you do that, your pet may start to bark. Then, what you want to do is to pretend that you are leaving the house. Once your dog begins to bark, you should stand outside for about 60 seconds. Then, open up the door and tell them they should not be barking with a very stern voice.
