TIME IS GOLD!
Time cannot be bought!
Time cannot be recovered!
Time is of the essence!
You have probably heard the statements above from people. I hope you agree with them; however what matters most is that you value your time.
For me as a life and business coach, I define time as the 'Best Free Capital" we can use to achieve our dreams. If you are that kind of person who doesn't have dreams because of the economic situation you are facing, let me say this to you:
"There is always room for success for everyone because each person has his / her own time to manage their life."
Although I would also agree that each person can achieve success different. Some can achieve it easily, some don't.
You cannot blame anyone for your situation. Each person has been given 24 hours everyday to live life. It’s up to you how you are using it. If most of the time is wasted I'm quite sure you will not be happy with the result on your life in the near future.
The funny thing is, I've been hearing a lot of people saying and complaining that they don't have enough time to achieve success. Believe me, they are all fooling themselves.
You are the only person liable on how you use your time.
Once you realize that you need to value time, it is now time for you to start changing your lifestyle and investing on those success producing works.
There is a misconception about how people view time. They believe that they are using their time properly at times they are busy. It’s not true! Being busy does not always mean that you value every minute of your day. Many times, we are busy on those things that don't matter much.
Let me ask you, "does working overtime makes you successful? Yes, if it resulted for your work promotion. If not, it is a waste. It is still recommended to invest on money making activities. Like reading business books for to be more knowledgeable about handling business, right?
Maximizing time is not easy, it takes a good plan to achieve it:
1. Have a daily schedule. It will serve as a reminder for you so that you would know how you are using some of your spare time. Review your daily activities and organize it properly.
Based from my personal experience, it’s nice to post your daily schedules on your refrigerator, work table, on your car or on those places you usually visit.
2. Think of those times when you can be multitasking. For example you can do laundry while reading some books or having groceries while listening to audio coaching sessions.
3. If you can delegate some of your works loads or task, do it! Even if you are the parents, you can ask assistance from your children with some household chores. Or just simply hire a cleaner.
Remember, time cannot be recovered. Once is passes away, it will never be back. So be wise and maximize!
