Stuck For A Present For Valentines Day?

Every year when, as soon as February creeps around we all head out to the shops and look for the usual chocolate, wine, flowers and cuddly toys ready for Valentines Day. Why not try and surprise your loved one this year and get them something a little different to the usual last minute gift. We are here to help you this year! No petrol station flowers this year. Hampers - Although most people think of Christmas or birthday hampers when you talk about hampers, they can be given any time of the year, including Valentines Day. Even though a hamper is basically the traditional wine, chocolate and teddy that you may buy from the supermarket or petrol station, they are higher quality, better presented and it shows that more throught has gone into the gift rather than buying whatever is available from the shop you pass on the way home the night before. Whether you buy a large hamper with everything for the romantic night in together, or if you just buy a small hamper with a single bottle of wine and a cuddly teddy, there are plenty of hampers available so you should be able to find the perfect hamper. While there are plenty of hamper suppliers online, if you do not want to order it online you could try a wine merchants on the high street as they will usually have similar hampers.

Experience Days - Instead of the usual chocolates and teddy this year, why not organise an experience day for the two of you to enjoy. With such as wide variety of experience days now available, including everything from hot air balloon rides and wine tasting through to sky diving and Formula 1 driving! Regardless of which experience you decide to do with your loved one, one thing is certain, compared to a box of chocolates, cuddly teddy or bottle of wine, the experience day will be far more enjoyable.

Chores - If money is a bit tight this year for any reason, you can still give your loved one a gift that will make them feel special. A cuddly gift will sit on a shelf for the next few years, a bottle of wine or box of chocolates will be over prices, why not save the money towards something important and instead use this as a cost effective gift. You could say that you will help out around the house more for the next day or so, so that they can spend some time relaxing. Why not agree to do a set amount of chores, for example how about you do all the cooking for the next few days, or you will hoover the house for the next week so that they can rest. Obviously though, you need to do what you have agreed to. It is pointless promising to do these tasks if you do not do any of them or moan about doing them while you are doing them.
