Summer Red Flowers Explosion
Don’t be afraid to be original and let your imagination to fly. We want just to give you the proof that you can make surprising flower arrangements all by yourself. One of our suggestions is to dress the usual plastic or clay pot with a purchased rustic wooden then wire support. This will compensate the entire image: the summer red explosion above and an original hand made flower container. So, you’ll need a big pot, with at least 30 cm in diameter, or even a can, it doesn’t matter, because it will be hidden by the support. Don’t forget to perforate the pot base, if it’s not yet. Then surround the pot with a reed panel, purchased from a gardening shop, and then with a wire lattice which is to sustain the reed panel and to complete the rustic ambient. Our idea is to plant in the same pot three beautiful flowering plants: 1 Abelia floribunda “Sunrise” or “Francis Masson”, 1 red Abutilon megapotamicum (also known as Flowering Maple or Chinese bell flower), and 1 red Begonia. Abelia floribunda has interesting pendent foliage and red flared trumpet flowers, flowering in early summer. Abelia plant needs fertile always moist soil. Abutilon megapotamicum is a shrub with maple like leaves and lantern pink, orange, yellow or red flowers. Abutilon loves the water, especially in spring-summer, and it will continuous flower if has a good care. Begonia is a multi species plant with several types of lowers. Begonia plant needs full light, not directly sun, high humidity and temperature. Begonia doesn’t bear the draughts. When you water begonia take care about its leaves, don’t water them too. Now, go to work! Put some pebbles on the bottom of the flower container for the water surplus draining off. Then fill it with a mix of fertilizer manure and potting soil. Plant abelia behind, the abutilon in front of it and red begonia in lateral, as it would be a triangle. Expose the red flower arrangement to full light, but not directly sun, because begonia will not bear that. Water it well, not over water, without touching the begonia leaves. All three plants enjoy the moist soil, not the excess water. Just begonia needs the peaky flowers to be broken. Being a shrub, Abutilon stems have to be wired for a well growth. Make this summer flower arrangement that we called “summer red flowers explosion” and you’ll never stop looking on.
