"support The Party Like It's 2008" Obama Urges To Philadelphia Crowd
Philadelphia has previously seen some pivotal stages in Barak Obama’s career in American politics. It was only here that he had one of the toughest debates with Hillary Rodham Clinton. This place has also been the witness to his very famous race speech. Philadelphia also gave him one of the largest crowds during his pre election campaign. Barak Obama’s popularity has not gone down and it was evident from the crowd size this Sunday. Already into his mid-term as the president, Barak Obama has 4 rallies planned in this month. Philadelphia was the second stop out of the 4 public meetings. Obama will go to Ohio on Sunday and from there he is supposed to go to Nevada for another rally. Democrats want these rallies to fill people with enthusiasm that makes them vote for them again, like in 2008. The democrats are seen to be lagging behind in political race in some places, and the party could use all the enthusiasm and loyalty that Obama can generate by such speeches and rallies. The Pennsylvania senate race is pitching Democratic Representative, Jeo Sestak against Republican Pat Toomy. Both have strong points against each other. It could be a national debate as Sestak has associated Pat Toomey with corporate greed and out sourcing, while according to Toomey, Sestak is too close to Obama and guilty of high unemployment in America. There is definite impatience among American’s regarding the slow pace of development, Obama asked his supporters not to be disheartened and be enthusiastic and engaged and not allow the opposition take the advantage of the people’s sentiments or rage. He asked the people to be good and engaged in active American politics.
